What Is ADHD Testing and Management?
Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), often starting in childhood and continuing into adulthood, can significantly impact various aspects of life. Recognizing the signs, including difficulty focusing, disorganization, poor time management, and performance struggles at school or work, is crucial for seeking effective support. How Is ADHD Diagnosed and Treated?
Diagnosing ADHD includes a multi-faceted approach: in-depth assessments like the QbTest, discussions, and a thorough medical history review. Together, we crack the code of your unique ADHD experience. Then, we embark on a collaborative journey to discover the ideal treatment path — medication, therapy, or a blend — tailored to your specific needs and mental health landscape. This is your journey, and we're here to empower you every step of the way.
What Can I Expect After ADHD Testing and Management?
After undergoing ADHD testing and management, you'll gain a clearer understanding of your condition and receive a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. The testing process often includes a comprehensive assessment with interviews, questionnaires, and cognitive tests to ensure an accurate diagnosis. Once ADHD is diagnosed, a customized management plan will be created, potentially involving medication, behavioral therapy, lifestyle adjustments, and educational support. Regular follow-up appointments will be crucial for tracking progress and making any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan. Adhering to this plan can lead to improved focus, reduced impulsivity, and enhanced organizational skills, ultimately contributing to better overall functioning and quality of life.

ADHD Testing and Management Reviews
Tolulope's experience with TMS therapy has been excellent. She is patient and really kind, even if the initial consultation took some time to schedule.
For years, I've grappled with ADHD and anxiety. Discovering Tolulope was a game-changer. Her tailored approach to medication management is thorough, and her genuine concern for her patients' well-being shines through her patience and care.
Good results from Ketamine therapy but the follow-up process needs work.
TMS treatment helped me become a much happier person and helped me see a more positive outlook on my life, even in my difficult times. The staff has been supportive, uplifting, consistent, attentive and kind. (Shout out to Jadriana, Kevin, Nate, Victoria, May and others!) My mental health has been a struggle for nearly 15 years and this treatment helped me feel more in control of my mental health while also helping me manage the uncontrollable circumstances. I learned to focus on gratitude and how to work through tough circumstances in healthier ways. I’m certain I would not have been able to do before treatment. I will say that patience and commitment is necessary in order to feel the full effects. I was hesitant to begin treatment because of how time consuming it is and because the effects don’t kick in right away. To me this treatment is similar to getting your body in shape. You have to work and dedicate the time. It’s not going to magically fix you either. The process is changing your physical brain operations but in my opinion it also requires your willingness to try different (healthier) coping skills and change the way you approach situations and challenges. I am very grateful I took a chance on this treatment. I also understand that this treatment is not for everyone. For my symptoms, (major depression, nearly constant anxiety, social withdrawal, apathy, etc.) this treatment was definitely helpful in my recovery. I know I will always have to keep my mental health in check throughout my life because of my previous trauma and my profession. This was an important piece to my recovery. Thank you to all of the staff——especially Jadriana and Kevin, whose dedication and kindness uplifted me every session. ALSO THANK YOU FOR THE SNACKS ON GRADUATION DAY
Tolulope's compassionate and professional approach in supporting anxiety and PTSD is truly remarkable. A shining example in the field of psychiatry!!!!

Who Is A Candidate for ADHD Testing and Management?
Those who should consider ADHD testing and management are individuals who consistently demonstrate symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that disrupt their daily activities or normal functioning. This includes children who struggle in school with focus, organization, or following instructions, as well as adults who have difficulty with time management, experience restlessness, and have trouble maintaining focus in their professional or personal lives. When such behaviors are observed over time and in various environments, ADHD testing is advisable. Furthermore, people with a family history of ADHD or related learning and attention issues may be strong candidates for evaluation. Effective management of ADHD typically involves a combination of behavioral therapy, lifestyle adjustments, and possibly medication, tailored to each person's individual needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
How old do I need to be for ADHD testing?
ADHD testing usually starts at the age of six and varies based on the location. Although it's often recognized in childhood, people of all ages can undergo evaluation for ADHD.
Is medication the only treatment option for ADHD?
Medication isn't the sole approach to treatment. Behavioral changes and lifestyle adjustments, along with other therapies like TMS therapy, can also offer significant benefits. Our team is dedicated to collaborating with you to identify the most suitable treatment plan tailored to your requirements.
What is the difference between ADD and ADHD?
The term ADD is considered outdated and is often used interchangeably with ADHD. Regardless of whether symptoms of hyperactivity are present, the correct diagnosis would still be ADHD.
